Fucus vesiculosus is commonly known as bladder wrack. Bladder wrack provides abundant minerals, nutrients and trace elements; ten to twenty times the amount found in land-plants. Animals grazed on land fertilised with seaweed have benefited from healthier skin, hooves and coat and with cattle there is an increased milk production. Seaweed absolute is a very concentrated dark green viscous liquid that is obtained by solvent extraction from the bladder wrack species.
