Devil’s Claw Powder
Latin Name: Harpagophytum procumbens
Sizes: 50g Amber Glass Jar | 150g Recyclable Pet Pot
£7.90 – £21.00 incl. VAT
The powder is slightly granular rather than a very fine powder as it is freshly ground to order.
The part of the plant used is the tuber. Even though devil’s claw is mainly selected by herbivores, dogs have also been known to chew the tubers when they are needed.
Animals with the following conditions have selected Devil’s Claw Powder –
- Inflammatory pain
- Musculo-skeletal problems
How To Use Devil’s Claw Powder
Offer Devil’s Claw powder dry, or let down with a small amount of selected vegetable oil to make a loose paste. Some dogs may prefer the dry tubers
Equine and Other Herbivores
Offer as many tubers, chopped devil’s claw or dry powdered devil’s claw as needed
Caution: Sensitive stomachs. Do not confuse Devil’s Claw with the commercial liquid, which has an altered chemical composition, making it difficult for animals to recognise and self-select correctly
