Description

Peppermint is from the same family as catnip and is a great favourite with cats who like to roll in both fresh and dried leaves. Horses also enjoy peppermint leaves, which may be selected due to its digestive and stimulant properties.

The plant is an annual that flowers from mid to late summer and grows abundantly, typically occurring in moist habitats including by streams and drainage ditches.
